Giuseppe's Italian Restaurant

VIBE: Giuseppe’s oozes with charm. Placed inside an old craftsman style house that was converted into a restaurant, the inside is divided up into several rooms for dining. The homey vibe is accentuated with brightly colored walls in warm colors, and small tables swathed in black tablecloths, making this the perfect place for both casual and fine dining experiences.

WHY IT'S TOT-FRIENDLY: While casual places are easier to take kids, they’ll love going to a nice, grown-up restaurant. Plus, the menu items range from simple lasagna to Salmone alla Arrogosta, grilled salmon in a lobster sauce, letting them sample all different Italian dishes.

BE SURE TO TRY: Try the Pollo Milanese, breaded chicken breast served with tomatoes, capers, and onions in a lemon butter sauce. Round off the meal with dessert –the tiramisu is creamy and excellent.

GOOD TO KNOW: Chef Giuseppe Brownell aims to please. Can’t find something exactly to your liking? Let Giuseppe know, and if he has the time and ingredients, he’ll whip something special up for you.

BEST TIMES TO GO WITH KIDS: Because of the atmosphere, expect plenty of anniversary or date nights to take place here. Take the kids to a laid-back luncheon, or hype it up, and go as a family on a fancy family date. The kids will love an opportunity to dress up and dine!
