Wow in the World, the #1 podcast for kids and their grown-ups that explores the coolest stories in science, technology, and innovation, is taking to the road with a brand new experiential mobile tour Wow on Wheels. Designed for children ages 6-11, the event is free of charge and designed for grown-ups to enjoy with their kids.
Podcast co-host Mindy Thomas renovated an ice cream truck and turned it into a mini-museum of science and wonder. This truck will be coming to seven cities across the United States this summer, and each stop will host fun activities celebrating science, wonder and creativity.
Join the event at two stops this weekend:
Sunday, May 29 from noon–5pm at Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, 1600 Gendy Street, Fort Worth
Monday, May 30 from 10am–2pm at the Dallas Arboretum, 8525 Garland Road, Dallas (general garden admission required)
There families can join a community art project and scavenger hunt around the van designed for kids to discover the wonders in the world and share how they add WOW to the world. To help create a rainbow collage of WOW, guests are asked to bring a teal-colored item that can fit into the palm of their hand.
The WOW on Wheels tour is sponsored by CLIF Kid, the makers of Zbar, the organic snack made to fuel kids’ active bodies and imagination.
