Description
Get your holiday season off to an early start with Vitruvian Lights at Vitruvian Park in Addison! The lights will be on Saturday, Nov. 23 from 6–11pm, then nightly Sunday, Nov. 24 through Wednesday, Jan. 1, from 5–11pm. The season includes two special event days.
Tree Lighting & Special Event Night: Saturday, Nov. 23, 6–10pm
Santa will flip the switch to turn on more than 1.2 million sparkling LED lights wrapped around 455 of the park’s trees. The tree lighting happens at 6pm.
After the man in red illuminates the night, the Jordan Kahn Orchestra will take the stage. The orchestra is a veteran of Vitruvian Lights’ special event nights and plays a high-energy mix of party hits spanning the decades from the days of the Rat Pack to today’s R&B, along with holiday favorites.
The tree lighting event, which continues until 10 p.m., will feature gourmet food trucks, sweet treats, FREE photos with Santa, live reindeer, letters to Santa with Mrs. Claus, classic holiday characters, an elf balloon artist and more! A new addition to the event for 2024 is a 3D walk-through gift box illuminated with LED lights. It’s perfect for Instagram-worthy photos.
Special Event Night: Saturday, Nov. 30, 6–10pm
A second special event night will feature the same activities as on Nov 23., plus a performance by Dallas String Quartet.
Visitors are encouraged to walk or drive through Vitruvian Park to enjoy the beauty of the lights. This is the 12th annual season for Vitruvian Lights, presented by Vitale Plasma Centers and sponsored by UDR and the Town of Addison.

Parking:
Parking for special events ($15, cash only) is available onsite in lots on Ponte Avenue and Bella Lane, as well as at the Alfred J. Loos Sports Complex, located at 3815 Spring Valley Road, Addison, Texas 75001. In the event of inclement weather, Vitruvian Lights special events are subject to cancellation; parking is nonrefundable.
