Description
For 21 years, Run in the Dark raises money to support Fort Worth-based nonprofit Community Storehouse's children's programs. 2020 is no different and has been difficult for many, including low-income families. At Community Storehouse has increased services by more than 300%, providing food and supplies to over 12,000 individuals. For as low as $20 you will allow us to keep providing educational and nutritional support to those who need us most.
The event is set for September 19, but with the event being held virtually you can run at your own pace, in your own space. Not a runner? Good news! You don't have to this year. Your registration fee will help us provide educational tutoring programs for low-income students and food for families who need help. Every person who registers will be supporting those who need it most.
Sign up for the 1-Mile, the 5K, or support families from your couch. Everyone receives a T-shirt. All runners who complete the virtual 5K and submit their time will receive a finisher's medal. Medals will be available for pick up on Monday following the event at the Community Storehouse office at 12001 Katy Road, Fort Worth 76244.
