Additional Information

Multiple Virtual Polar Plunge video celebration premieres occur during this month. Polar Plunge videos include individuals jumping in freezing water and dumping cold water over their heads, also known as “freezin’ for a reason.” Due to the ongoing results of COVID, this year’s Polar Plunge Premiere must be held virtually.

Special guest judges will determine a winner for the following categories: Biggest Slash, Best Costume, Best LETR Submission, Most Hilarious Plunge, and Audience Favorite. Participants are advised to maintain strict social distancing for those not in the same household and videos are to be 20 seconds or less. This premiere will include submissions from all Texas regions, with multiple different fundraising teams.

The video premieres will be available to view on SOTX TV and SOTX's statewide Facebook page. Visit for more information.
