Virtual Festival of the Kid

Get a glimpse into the minds of today's kids at this one-of-a-kind play festival written by kids, performed by kids, and directed by local professionals.

Festival of the Kid produces the winning entries from Stage West Theatre's annual Neighborhood Play Contest every Spring. They pieces are written by kids, performed by kids, and directed by local professionals.

During this unprecedented time of social distancing, the theater is rehearsing the pieces via Zoom. Each piece will then be recorded on Zoom and the links to the shows will be emailed to interested audience members in May. Join this celebration of creativity in the Stage West community's youth.
