Join the UTA Native American Student Association in celebrating the 25th annual UTA scholarship benefit powwow. Native American dancers, drummers, and artwork will be presented at this year's event, which also includes Native American vendors and traditional food dishes such as frybread. Doors open at 10am. Grand entry at 1pm and 6pm.

The pow-wow will start with land dedication and a gourd dance, a traditional warriors dance originating from the Kiowa and Comanche tribes. Other dances are scheduled throughout the event, allowing attendees an opportunity to meet with dancers, network, take photos, and even join in on the dancing.

The pow-wow benefits the UTA Native American Student Association scholarship program, which is open to native and non-native students at UTA who have demonstrated a contribution to the native community.

The free community event is open to the public.
