Twinkle Light Boat Parade

The Twinkle Light Boat Parade returns on Saturday, December 4. It's a floating festival of lights on Lake Grapevine with a parade of boats decorated in their finest. This lighted boat parade starts at Twin Coves Marina and picks up entries at each marina, Scott’s Landing and Silver Lake, as it circles the lake. The parade is visible along the shores of the lake and from Oak Grove Park (2520 Oak Grove Loop South) and Katie’s Woods Park (1899 Katie’s Woods Loop). Call Scott's Landing at 817/481-4549 and for additional information.

Back on dry land, Grapevine hosts the Parade of Lights on Thursday, December 2. Grapevine offers 40 days of Christmas with more than 1,400 events and activities.  Grapevine was officially declared the Christmas Capital of Texas by the State of Texas Senate with Proclamation No. 556 in 2009, signed by Senator Jane Nelson.  City staff, along with volunteer citizens and members of the Chamber of Commerce generously provided their time to help install millions of lights and Christmas decorations throughout the city.
