Description

Turtle Day at the Library is a fun and interactive event where we come together to celebrate our reptilian friend. Join the Dallas Public Library to learn more about the local varieties in Dallas and meet a few rescued box turtles. The program covers turtle anatomy, diet, life cycle, and differences in local species.

Presented by Gwen Eishen, a local naturalist, wildlife rescuer, and a dedicated conservation educator with the DFW Texas Wildlife Association.

Social distancing will be required and the use of face masks is strongly encouraged. Registration is required.
