Make the holiday season a memorable one for those in need by giving presents, clothing and necessities through the Salvation Army Angel Tree. Choose an Angel by December 7 and drop off your gift by December 9, and the Salvation Army will deliver it in time for Christmas. Created in 1979, the Angel Tree is one of the Salvation Army’s most important holiday efforts. NorthPark Center Angel Tree patrons have contributed millions of dollars in donated Christmas gifts to over 40,000 North Texans.
The Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign continues November 23–December 24 throughout NorthPark Center.
Bells are ringing at NorthPark Center to encourage visitors to donate their spare change through the Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign, which raises crucial funds for year-round programs at more than a dozen Salvation Army centers in North Texas.
The Salvation Army Twelve Days of Giving Tree runs December 10–22 on level one near Macy’s.
Twelve Days of Giving provides compassionate people with the opportunity to support The Salvation Army’s year-round programs. The tree is decorated with an array of giving tags that contain pictures and stories about real people who have been helped by The Salvation Army in the DFW Metroplex. Additionally, each tag lists giving options at different monetary levels to help provide important services like shelter, meals, domestic violence therapy and youth programs, such as after-school care. Donors can make donations by credit card, check and cash. This is a fantastic way for people to ensure that their compassion is put into action not only at Christmas time, but throughout the entire year.
