Description
Come join the Bridges Training Foundation at Midlothian Community Park for the start of the Great Inclusion Race. This first-ever scavenger hunt and obstacle course will send you around town to perform obstacles and compete with other teams for prizes based on fastest overall combined challenge times.
The race will take attendees through a series of obstacles (about 10 stops) designed to simulate the challenges that people with all kinds of disabilities face in everyday tasks. There is no better place to start than within the community to help build connected lives for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Everyone is welcome to attend the Party in the Park for a day of fun-filled celebration, arts and crafts, food trucks, music and more 55 vendors. Come shop, eat and support the Bridges Training Foundation and their community.
This event hosted by Bridges Training Foundation is intended to cultivate community awareness and inclusion for differently abled community.
The foundation intends to replicate as many of the challenges as possible at the north parking lot of the community park so that the general public can experience them in as well as the rally teams.
