The 34th Annual Texas Storytelling Festival—titled One World: Many Voices. Many Tales—features storytelling concerts, workshops, fringe concert, music, liars’ contest, drum talk, dancing performances and story swaps.

Free: Ghost Stories, opening concert, kid’s activities, family concert, story slam, sacred tales, tai chi, and flute circle.

Our kids' activities and family concert are all free. Look online for a complete schedule of events taking place in the Woman's Club Building (Registration), Senior Center, and Emily Fowler Library.

Gene and Peggy Helmick-Richardson share myriad folktales, fairy tales, ghost stories and personal accounts with humor and insight from preschools to prisons. Josh Goforth
From the Appalachian Mountains and most famous for his fiddling, Goforth is a highly accomplished Grammy nominated, old-time bluegrass and swing musician and ballad singer. Growing up in a tight-knit mountain community, he was surrounded by storytellers. In The Spirit
Almost twenty years ago, Emily Hooper Lansana and Glenda Zahra Baker came together to form Performance Duo: In the Spirit.
