Description

The Arlington Museum of Art's summer exhibitions celebrate the trailblazing spirit of female artists, particularly in the country and pop music genre.

Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour Collection
Curated by the Arlington Museum of Art from Swift’s own private collection, this collection is an exploration of Swift as an evolving, boundary-pushing artist. The exhibition will feature original costumes, photographs, videos, and more representing several of her creative periods, or “eras.” Highlights of the exhibition are eight costumes worn by Swift from her record-breaking albums Midnights, folklore, Red (Taylor’s Version) and Fearless (Taylor’s Version).

Included in your tickets to see Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour Collection is admission to two companion exhibits: Girl in a Country Song: Women of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Hometown Harmonies.

Girl in a Country Song: Women of Country Music
Curated by the Arlington Museum of Art, Girl in a Country Song features intimate portraits of legendary country music artists including Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Faith Hill, Tanya Tucker, and LeAnn Rimes.

Hometown Harmonies
Curated by the AMA in partnership with the artists themselves, Hometown Harmonies includes personal memorabilia and costumes of artists whose careers began on the stages of Arlington, Texas, including Kirstin Maldonado of the multi-Grammy Award-winning a cappella group Pentatonix and Maren Morris, who has won multiple CMA, ACM, and Grammy awards.

Toni Martin: Butterfly Kisses
A contemporary artist whose work is in high demand, this solo show by Dallas-based artist Toni Martin will include four, 40×40 mixed-media pieces from her Butterfly Kisses series.
