Supported in Faith Conference for Families Affected by Disability

Families affected by disability often come to faith communities with a hunger for acceptance and belonging, and a significant need for direction and resources. This conference brings together faith leaders, community organizations, self-advocates, and caregivers to learn from one another so that they are all better equipped to step into the gap with each family who crosses their path.

The second annual Belong Supported in Faith Conference will be held in the Tolleson Family Activity Center of Highland Park United Methodist Church. Keynote speakers include:
-Dr. Lamar Hardwick, “the autism pastor”
-Rev. Justin Hancock and Lisa Hancock, co-founders of The Julian Way, an organization focused on education and empowerment with, for, and by persons of diverse embodiments.
