What does "maker" mean to you? Meet artists, engineers, builders, and other creators to try your hand at a variety of skills and see what inside the Perot Museum of Nature and Science inspires you.

-Maker Gallery in the lobby: See a wide variety of interactives built by the Perot Museum’s resident maker, then try your hand at recreating your own version. Gallery will include a light table, zoetrope, kaleidoscope, spin art and CNC Subtractive Technology Machine.
-Community Art in the lobby: Add a line of poetry or prose to help create a story, contribute a brushstroke to a community painting, and help design a dress by adding your own unique pattern.
-Join DCCCD to create your own unique piece of art using a sound-activated robot in the lobby.
-Learn how to brew your own beer at this live demonstration in the plaza.
-Learn about some of the earliest human “makers” and try your hand at an ancient tool-making technique — flint knapping in the Being Human Hall.
See the site for the whole schedule.

Appropriate for all ages. Free with general admission: $20 adults; $13 youth 2–17.
