Description

Wednesday, July 10, 10am–noon

The Amon Carter Museum is on the move this summer, taking its story time program to locations all across Fort Worth. Story time is held every Wednesday, June 5 through July 31 (except on July 3). Each week features a Texas-themed book that connects with artworks from the museum's collection. Take inspiration from the story you hear and create your own work of art using fun supplies. Open to children 8 and younger.

This week, families are invited to meet at BRIT (Botanical Research Institute of Texas) to read The Three Little Tamales by Eric A. Kimmel, illustrated by Valeria Docampo. The story will be read outside (weather permitting) on BRITS’s geological survey wall, so be sure to bring your sunglasses and hat.

Free.
