Description

Come visit the River Legacy during spring break for these three special days of kid-friendly fun

March 14: Creepy Crawlies
Get an up-close look at some of our most fascinating animal friends: Walking Sticks, Madagascar Hissing cockroaches, tarantulas and more. Learn about the creepy crawlers that can be found in your own backyard and some of the “superpowers” that make them unique.

March 15: Spring has Sprung
Join a naturalist on a short hike showcasing the spring plants in our forest as we head to the raised beds and compost area where you will get your hands dirty. Help plant seeds and kitchen scraps for our resident animals.

March 16: Radical Reptiles
Come and meet some of the resident reptiles. Turtles, snakes, and lizards, oh my! How are they alike? And what makes each reptile different? Meet with the reptiles and a naturalist to learn all about these radical creatures.
