March 11–15, 11:30am–3:30pm

Come to River Legacy Living Science Center during spring break for new activities each day:

Tree Hikes on Monday, March 11
Join a Naturalist on a hike looking for common trees found in the forest. Magnifying glasses will be available to use during the hike to further examine the trees. Hikes will leave from the Science Center at 11:30 am, 1:30 pm, and 3:30 pm. 25 people maximum per hike.

Reptile Adventures on Tuesday, March 12
Get an up-close look at turtles, snakes or lizards during an animal investigation followed by a craft. Animal presentations will begin at 11:30am, 1:30pm and 3:30pm. 75 people maximum per session.

Aquatic Adventures on Wednesday, March 13
Grab a dip net and see what interesting watery inhabitants you can find in the Science Center pond. Pond explorations will start at 11:30am, 1:30pm and 3:30pm.

Mammal Adventures on Thursday, March 14
Get an up-close look and learn about different mammals found in Texas during an animal investigation followed by a related craft. Animal presentations will begin at 11:30am, 1:30pm and 3:30pm. 75 people maximum per session.

Creepy Crawlers on Friday, March 15
Get an up-close look at some of our Creepy Crawler animal friends – spiders, cockroaches and more that are found in your own backyard and across the world. Animal presentations will start at 11:30am, 1:30pm and 3:30pm.

Tickets will be available to purchase at 10am the day of the event and must be purchased in-person at the Science Center. Cost is $2 per person; free for age 2 and younger. Spring Break Activity is included with purchase of Discovery Room admission.
