Description
In conjunction with the special exhibition Stories of Survival: Object. Image. Memory the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum presents The Suitcase, a one-man production from musician Tim Borsch.
The son of Jewish immigrants who escaped the Holocaust, Lorsch tells his family’s story through spoken narrative and original music, which is performed live with looping technology on violin, octave violin, and cello. This unique performance reflects the vulnerability, hopes, dreams and resilience of immigrant families.
The museum's exhibitions will remain open until 6:45pm. If you would like to tour the museum before the program, you may purchase tickets at the front desk when you arrive. Last entry into the permanent exhibition will be 6pm.
