Autism Response Team Texas hosts a Sensory Friendly Carnival Day benefiting Autism Speaks. Come join this fun, free, family friendly event with special needs boot camp Special Strong.
11am–noon: The whole family can participate in sensory friendly carnival games, face painting, cotton candy and popcorn. The Sensory friendly games will include: water bead games, sand art, dino dig, bean bag toss, bowling games, and family challenges.
Noon–12:45pm: Special Needs Strong will be hosting a free boot camp, geared towards individuals with special needs, to participate in. The entire family is welcome to participate in the boot camp. This will be a great way to get up and get active.
12:45–1:30pm: Autism Response Team will continue to host the carnival games. There will be a raffle to win fun items at 1pm.
If your child gets over-stimulated, ABA-trained technicians can guide you indoors to a sensory friendly cooled area with jungle gym, trampoline and ball pit for your child to be able to enjoy the festivities in a different area.
Free admission and free for all activities.
