Description
Sensory Exploration is the Amon Carter Museum's free program for families with children of all ages who are on the autism spectrum. During March, the Sensory Explorations event focuses on artworks that explore floral themes.
Families can explore artworks depicting motion and movement in the galleries, enjoy interactive experiences, and get creative while making art. While the needs of individuals with autism are the focus of this program, it is also intended to be fun for parents, siblings (of all ages), and other relatives.
Admission is free, but reservations are encouraged. Registration opens March 1. For questions, email education@cartermuseum.org or call 817/989-5013. American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation may be provided during this event upon advance request.
