Description
Birders of all skill levels are welcome to join an expert birder as you explore prime birding locations along the nature trails of the Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area (LLELA), in search of winter residents, year-round locals, and the occasional surprise visitor.
This guided walk is open to ages 10 and up and is perfect for beginners and experienced birders alike. Bundle up, bring your binoculars, and discover just how incredible birding can be at LLELA. Registration is required and closes at 5pm the Friday before the walk.
This is offered as part of LLELA's regular programming, including First Saturday Nature Walks and Toddler Nature Time on first and third Wednesdays.
Admission:
Purchase a day pass at the gatehouse. Daily entry is $5 per vehicle with card. (Cash, American Express, or tap to pay are not accepted.)
Bus entry rates: $20/van or bus with 10-25 passengers, $30/bus with more than 25 seats.
