Description

Sci-Tech Discovery Center's STEM Camps introduce kids to science and technology in the world around them. They can explore physics and engineering. It’s all fun and games until it gets messy, then it’s awesome.

Maker camps are ideal for kids who love to tinker, disassemble, invent and create. Campers can use hand tools for big wooden builds, learn to code, assemble circuitry, and engineer mechanical devices.

Open to campers entering first through eighth grade next fall. Held on weekdays 9am–4pm early (8am) and late (5pm) hour programming available.

*There are understandably questions around how this summer for look. Once Sci-Tech reopens its space, there will be changes to keep campers safe and engaged. This include fewer slots to increase social distancing, closing to the general public during camp hours, increased sanitation, individual supplies for our junior scientists, and daily screenings. Sci-Tech staff is keeping a close eye on public health guidelines as they are released by the city, state and CDC.
