Description
The City will host the furriest 5K benefiting your four-legged friends at the Carrollton Animal Services & Adoption Center in the fifth annual Run for Rover race. All proceeds benefit the animals at the center. This year’s race will operate differently to maximize safety while still having fun. With the public’s health and wellness top of mind, the race will be split into four different timeslots: 8am, 8:35am, 9:10am and 9:45am.
Masks are required when social distancing is not possible. Masks do not have to be worn while running.
Masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer will be provided.
Fruit will be pre-packaged. Gloves and masks are worn when pre-packaging fruit.
The goal is donate $2,000 to the Carrollton Animal Services & Adoption Center, which helps purchase:
•500 canine 4 in 1 vaccinations or
•Provides 3,200 servings of dog food or
•Provides 5,150 servings of cat food or
•5 lifesaving heartworm treatments or
•33 spay or neuters
