Description
In 2024, in partnership with the Dallas Stars, the City of Rowlett offered an ice skating rink with real ice and free admission. Now for 2025, Rowlett on Ice is back and set to bring a festive, free experience to Downtown Rowlett this season—and admission is free.
Located near Main and Martin downtown, the rink will open during Holiday Main Street Fest & Parade from 5–9pm on Saturday, December 6. The festival includes a tree lighting ceremony, a petting zoo and more.
Rowlett on Ice will remain open through February 7, 2026, offering residents and visitors the chance to enjoy skating under the lights throughout the winter.
Ice rink hours:
December 6, 2025–January 4, 2026:
Mondays–Fridays 5–9pm
Saturdays and Sundays 2–9pm
January 5–February 7, 2026:
Saturdays and Sundays only: 2–9pm
Each Saturday will feature food and dessert trucks, serving up delicious bites and warm treats to make your skating experience even more enjoyable.
