Description

COVID-19 restrictions and precautions limit our ability to safely offer regular classes onsite for this summer. River Legacy Foundation has made the difficult decision to cancel all in-person summer classes and programs for the summer 2020 season and instead offering them virtually.

Virtual summer camps with River Legacy Nature Center provide campers 3 years through sixth grade with an exciting hands-on, minds-on opportunity to explore the natural world from their homes.
-A variety of weeklong programs in June and July offer children engaging ways to learn about wildlife, ecology and the environment.
-Age-appropriate curricula for preschool children through sixth grade.
-All classes feature activities to do at home* and investigations filmed at the nature center and/or outdoors in the rich resources of River Legacy Parks.
-Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Resource kits are provided for each camp via curbside pickup.

Virtual summer camps feature daily video lessons and activities for your child/children at home. Campers may contact their teachers with questions and comments. River Legacy Virtual Summer Camps are offered in June and July. Campers may sign up for one or two camps for their age group.
