Description

Day and night the raptors are on patrol. Their mission: in search of a meal. How do they do it? Discover their unique adaptations to hunt in woodland, wetlands and prairies. Raptors of different species and sizes will be used to demonstrate their capabilities. 

On Saturday, June 19, the Blackland Prairie Raptor Center will discuss and demonstrate the raptors that call North Texas home. View live birds to see their characteristics and exceptional hunting abilities. This program is hosted by the Friends of Coppell Nature Park free of charge.

Registration is required at coppellactivities.com. This program will be held outdoors. Please bring your own chair or picnic blanket.
