Saturday, June 1, 5pm–dusk

The fourth annual Tucker Hill’s Porch Fest 2019 is free and open to the public and features live bands and solo musicians, some performing from the quaint front porches of Tucker Hill’s residents. Palio’s Pizza Cafe plans to host a musician on their outdoor patio. Look for others in the charming Harvard Park Gazebo, or outside of the community’s Residents’ Club and pool.

Porch Fest is Tucker Hill’s version of the Porch Fest held annually in Franklin, Tennessee’s Westhaven community. The evening highlight is a concert-on-the-lawn at the Lawn Chair Amphitheatre from 7pm until dusk featuring The Redwine Band. Bring your blankets or chairs.

The day includes an artisan market with a scavenger hunt for young shoppers. A new Kid’s Zone area this year features a live children’s entertainer and story-teller, Tanna Banana, free face painting and Henna tattoos, lawn games, and the Tucker Hill playground.

Food and drink will be available as guests can purchase beer or wine from the folks at EJ Wills Gastro Pub, and grab a picnic dinner or treats from food vendors including 7 Sisters Gourmet Foods, Smoken’ S BBQ & Catering, and Rita’s Italian Ice. And don’t forget the two new restaurants now open at Tucker Hill’s entrance — Palio’s Pizza Cafe and Petra Fresh Mexican Bistro.

The entire event has a new park venue this year as all activities will take place in and around the community’s Lawn Chair Amphitheatre, Harvard Park Retail Center, and Residents’ Club parking lot. This is all conveniently located at Tucker Hill’s entrance, bordered by State Boulevard, Fleetwood, Grassmere and Percy.

Admission is free. RSVP is preferred. Parking is free and available along those streets not closed and surrounding the event area.
