Description

Come dance with the Plano Symphony Orchestra this summer. Families will join in the fun with a conga line and a little Latin dance music as well as enjoying a PSO trio perform selections from Aladdin, Moana, The Jungle Book and Encanto. This interactive summer concert features trumpet, saxophone, and trombone. Attendees will learn about the orchestra and different genres of music while staying cool at this 45-minute indoor summer event.

There are two opportunities to see this concert on July 10. Tickets are available for 3pm and 4:30pm. The Anna Hale Instrument Petting Zoo will be available for families in the lobby 45 minutes prior to the concert. Try your hand at playing anything from a violin to a glockenspiel.

About Plano Symphony Orchestra
Established in 1983, the Plano Symphony Orchestra (PSO) has gradually expanded its mission and programming to serve the greater North Texas. Originally named the Plano Chamber Orchestra, the change to “Symphony” in 1998 reflected a broadening of scope and repertory. Currently presenting eight subscription concerts, a five-concert, interactive Family Symphony Sunday series, and over 100 solo, ensemble, and educational programs, the PSO embodies outstanding artistic excellence, active community engagement, and sound fiscal responsibility.
