Description

Let music from the Plano Symphony Orchestra brass quintet and percussion, marionettes from Le Theatre de Marionette and dancers will whisk you away to the ball. Families are encouraged to dress in prince and princess attire to come learn about classical music and instruments as well as hear music from Beauty and the Beast, Star Wars, and others.

Go online and select seats for either the 3pm and 4:30pm performance. Audiences are encouraged to arrive 45 minutes early for the instrument petting zoo, where children can interact with instruments up close.

About Plano Symphony Orchestra
Established in 1983, the Plano Symphony Orchestra (PSO) has gradually expanded its mission and programming to serve the greater North Texas. Originally named the Plano Chamber Orchestra, the change to “Symphony” in 1998 reflected a broadening of scope and repertory. Currently presenting eight subscription concerts, a five-concert, interactive Family Symphony Sunday series, and over 100 solo, ensemble, and educational programs, the PSO embodies outstanding artistic excellence, active community engagement, and sound fiscal responsibility.
