The Plano Symphony Orchestra presents Movie Royalty. Chamber ensembles will perform music about kings, queens, princes and princesses in film! Learn about the orchestra as well as hear selections from The Lion King, Moana, Star Wars, Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty and more.
The symphony will be joined by ACE actors from North Texas Performing Arts to bring the music to life. This 45-minute musical performance is geared toward families with children aged 3–12.
Enjoy pre-concert activities such as the instrument petting zoo, arts and crafts, and the conductor’s station beginning at 2:15pm. Scouts can earn the Plano Symphony Orchestra STEAM fun patch while attending the 3pm concert by completing the physics of music experiments available from 2–3pm in the lobby prior to the concert.
