Plano Flags of Honor

Plano Flags of Honor is a week-long community tribute honoring veterans and first responders, held November 8–15, 2025, at Red Tail Pavilion in Plano, Texas. This tribute features a breathtaking field of 1,111 American flags arranged in military precision, each accompanied by a dedication card telling the story of a hero.

Presented by the Plano Flags of Honor Rotary Community Corps, the event offers a powerful opportunity to reflect, learn, and show gratitude to those who serve.

Throughout the week, visitors can experience ceremonies, living history exhibits, family activities, and special programs such as the inaugural Patriots Run, Safety Fair/Touch-a-Truck, Fire Truck Pull, Patriotic Chalk Walk and Stars & Stripes Car Show. See the full schedule here.

Safety Fair & Touch-a-Truck
Saturday, November 8, 2025, from noon–4pm
This is a family-friendly community event where kids and adults can explore police cars, fire trucks, construction vehicles, and more, while meeting the first responders and community helpers who operate them. New this year, we have the Plano Police Department's mobile command unit joining the lineup! Hosted as part of the Plano Flags of Honor at Red Tail Pavilion, the event also features safety demonstrations, educational activities, and hands-on fun for all ages. Admission is free.

Patriotic Chalk Walk
Sunday, November 9, 2–4pm
Patriotic Chalk Walk invites artists of all ages and skill levels to create patriotic-themed chalk art along the walkways at Plano Flags of Honor. This colorful community event celebrates creativity, freedom, and remembrance while honoring our nation’s heroes. Admission is free, and supplies are provided.
