Plano Balloon Festival & Run

The 2022 H-E-B | Central Market Plano Balloon Festival & Run is a four-day weekend at Oak Point Park. The weekend offers something for everyone, entertainment on the FOX 4 community stage and KLUV main stage, fireworks show, kids activities, sky divers, races and an enormous variety of food, merchandise and handmade products and, of course, hot air balloons.

Balloon glows are scheduled each night at 8pm. Tethered balloon rides are offering on select mornings and evenings at the individual pilot's discretion. One balloon will be doing tethered rides, and can accommodate 10–12 people (depending on height and weight). Children must be at least 6 years old to participate, and every passenger must sign a waiver. Tickets only available for purchase on-site (cash only): $30 adults; $20 children 6–12.

On Friday evening catch the boom, bang, and sight of the spectacular fireworks at 9pm.

Enjoy the fun and interactive inflatable rides this year in the Kids Fun Zone. Race through the obstacle courses, zip down the huge slides, ride the pirate ship or the berry-go-round. Rides vary in price from $2.50–$5. All-day play wristbands available for $20. Be sure to check out the “Toddler Zone.” Designed with young toddlers in mind, they can experience the fun of inflatables that are just their size.

Children can enjoy the creative make and take art activities in the free Kids Korner as they make their way through the different craft stations. Get your Face Painted and explore music at the Plano Symphony Orchestra Instrument Area.
