Pirate Party at the Children’s Aquarium

Aargh! It’s a Pirate Party on Saturday, April 2 right here at the Children's Aquarium, located at Fair Park in Dallas. Wear your best Pirate gear. Go on a scavenger treasure hunt. Meet a Mermaid and much more. Members get a free bag of pirate dirt with “gold” doubloons and a gift to use at the mine sluice. Also happening on April 2, from 10–11am: Goat yoga! Get your separate ticket for this experience—where a tribe of pet goats graze and jump around (or on) you—while your family enjoys the Sharks and stingrays at the aquarium. The event will be outside, so please dress accordingly. Bring your own yoga mat and a bottle of water. Proceeds from this class directly benefit the animals of Goat Yoga Dallas. Tickets are $32 for adults and $20 for kids 5–12.

Be prepared for our goats to take an interest in you! They are excited to be with you! Goat yoga is for everyone, and we welcome participants age 5 and over (with a parent or guardian). It is meant to be fun and memorable. Goats have been known to nudge, scratch, nibble, jump and step on attendees. Goats are not potty trained animals. There will be a sanitizing station with antibacterial wipes available.

Be sure to check out the aquarium before or after class. The aquarium opens at 9am. You are invited to explore the new hands-on, hands-wet exhibits! Tickets must be purchased separately to enter aquarium.
