Pinkalicious the Musical

Upright Theatre Company in Euless opens of Pinkalicious The Musical, the first children’s theatre production of the company’s season after opening earlier this year. The show opens Friday, July 9 and runs through Saturday, July 24 on Fridays at 5pm and Saturdays at 12:30pm and 2:30pm.

Based on the popular book by Victoria Kann and Elizabeth Kann, this is the tale of Pinkalicious, who can’t stop eating pink cupcakes despite warnings from her parents. Her pink indulgence lands her at the doctor’s office with Pinkititis, an affliction that turns her pink from head to toe–a dream come true for this pink-loving enthusiast. Alas, Pinkalicious needs a way out of her pink predicament, and joined by her family they find unity and appreciation in the quirks that define us all.

Children are encouraged to dress in their prettiest pinkatastic outfits and will have an opportunity to meet Pinkalicious and friends after the show.

Upright Theatre Co. offers a unique viewing experience. Seating is available at tables of four or along the back of the house. General Admission will be seated at open tables and seats on a first-come basis. Tickets are $11.50 for adults and $6.50 for children, with discounts available for students, seniors, military, first responders. Pink Parties with Pinkalicious and Friends
Character experience add-on: After the show, stay and celebrate all things pink with the cast of Pinkalicious. Kids will enjoy dancing, games, and snacks with the one and only Pinkalicious and her family! Immediately following the 2:30pm show on July 10, 17, and 24. Pink Party tickets: $10 per child. (Must also have a ticket to the show on the same day.)
