NubAbility Athletics’ Lone Star Camp for Limb Different Athletes is for limb-different youth who are self-mobile ages 4–17 wishing to take their game in mainstreamed sport to the next level. All camper athletes should be prepared to sweat and be sore.
Saturday, November 17, 10am–4pm at West Mesquite High School, 2500 Memorial Parkway, Mesquite, TX 75149
Sunday, November 18, 10am–2pm at Adaptive Training Foundation, 4125 Old Denton Rd., Carrollton, TX 75010
Children discover their courage and confidence while being coached by someone who looks like them. Activities include football, softball, baseball, cheer and tumbling. On Sunday, the focus will be on P.E. skills and athletic strength and conditioning. Saturday night includes a swim/pizza party at the designated hotel (see website for more information).
-$150 for first limb-different camper and one parent/guardian (Parent must accompany each child)
-$50 each additional camper
-$100 each participating sibling ages 7–17 (family/sibling spots are limited)
-$50 each nonparticipating sibling
-$50 additional parent/guardian
-$10 each VIP tickets are available on site for grandparents and special guests. (Payable at the gate on site. Must have family invitation and must have ID.)
Recommend strongly registration by Nov. 1, some campers may be emitted after that date.
