For its 25th Anniversary year, NYICFF will be hosting in-person and virtual programming for audiences of all ages from March 4–19. Return to the magic of big screen events with the New York International Children’s Film Festival (NYICFF), North America’s largest film festival for kids and teens, and celebrate their 25th annual festival. Catch must-see screenings of exciting new animated, live action and doc films for young audiences, plus filmmaker Q&As.

Don’t miss out on your first film festival—all programs for audiences under 5 years old will be available exclusively online to watch from home. New York International Children’s Film Festival (NYICFF), North America’s largest film festival for children and teens ages 3-18, kicks off its 25th Anniversary in person for ages 5+ and online for under-5s on March 4, 2022. NYICFF offers the best new films from around the world for young audiences—including short film programs, feature films, and special events.

The 2022 festival opens with the North American Premiere of Oink, a warm, witty, and meticulously handcrafted animated feature. NYICFF’s Centerpiece Screening is a special theatrical presentation of Disney/Pixar’s latest release Turning Red, the debut feature by Oscar-winner Domee Shi, on Friday, March 11. On Saturday, March 19, the festival will close its 25th edition with the East Coast Premiere of Richard Linklater’s highly anticipated new animated feature film Apollo 10½: A Spage Age Childhood.
