Description
Honor the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. by watching a free memorial parade through the streets of Carrollton on Saturday, January 15 beginning at 10am.
The 28th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade will begin on Rainwater Lane (behind Carrollton City Hall) and proceed west to Josey Lane; south on Josey Lane to Keller Springs Road; east on Keller Springs Road to Kelly Boulevard; south on Kelly Boulevard to end at Ted Polk Middle School (2001 Kelly Boulevard). A program starts after the parade at 11:30am.
Parade Grand Marshall: Drew Pearson, former wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL. He was elected for induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2021.
