Description

As we continue to stay home during these uncertain times, many are looking for projects they can do around the house to keep busy. Well, you’re in luck! Michaels, the largest arts and crafts retail chain in North America, launched a virtual community classroom that allows consumers to take crafting classes online from a range of brands and craft influencers.

From face masks to cake decorating to crochet, Michaels has a range of courses available that are perfect for crafters of all levels. The classes are free of charge and run on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays for the foreseeable future, starting at 1pm Eastern time, noon central time.

Upcoming classes include:
Tuesday, May 5: Meaningful Greeting Cards with Cricut
Thursday, May 7: Button Up Basket
Monday, May 11: DIY COVID-19 Journal with WE R Memory Keepers
Thursday, May 14: Stitching the Floral Crochet Motif From a Sampler Afghan

Kids Club Online: try free classes for your mini makers on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3pm central. Kids ages 3 and up will learn a fun new craft in each Zoom session. Sign up now at michaels.com/kidsclubonline.

Plus, tune into Michaels Facebook Live every Wednesday at noon for a fun family activity.
