MESStival Kids Festival

This fall, Downtown Dallas transforms into a wonderland of music, color, and chaos (the good kind) for two back-to-back days of family-friendly fun. MESStival + The Tribute Festival comes to AT&T Discovery District  September 27–28, 2025.

This is more than just a festival—it’s a full-blown, joy-packed, mess-friendly adventure designed to ignite the imagination of every child and create unforgettable memories for the whole family. This two-day celebration turns the heart of downtown into a colorful wonderland filled with interactive zones, live performances, immersive art, and hands-on activities that encourage creativity, laughter, and connection.

Saturday, September 27, 11am–7pm
MESStival
Where fun gets wild and color runs free. This is a hands-on, high-energy day of imagination and play, perfect for families with kids 0–15 and the young at heart. You can expect:
-Music, games, shows, inflatables, and interactive zones
-Massive powder paint party at 6pm
-Main stage tributes to Sabrina Carpenter, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Hannah x Miley, Jelly Roll, and a full Disney + Wicked Musical Show.
-Plus, roaming characters, family DJs, art stations, Crayola magic, and more.

Sunday, September 28, 11am–7pm
The Tribute Festival
All the Hits. All the Feels. Celebrate the music of North & South America with jaw-dropping tribute acts, full bands, and cultural pride in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month.
-Main Stage tributes include: Selena, Shakira, Karol G, Post Malone, Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, Jelly Roll, Sabrina x Taylor Fusion, and more.
-Bonus: The event will also showcase local talented children between the main acts from local ISDs, churches, choir, dance groups and singers of all ages. Expect some emotional moments, surprise performances, and a grand finale you don’t want to miss.
