Description
This Memorial Day celebrate freedom and honor America’s fallen heroes with a party at the historic Texas Pool. Memorial Day Monday is opening day for the Texas Pool’s annual summer season.
Visitors will enjoy raffles, traditional pool games, and more. Camp chairs, canopies, and coolers (non-alcoholic) are welcome. The snack bar will be open, and food truck will be parked outside the pool.
The National Moment of Remembrance starts just before 3pm with a flag ceremony.
About the Texas Pool
The Texas Pool is a 168,000-gallon saltwater pool with a shallow “South Texas” wading area for small children, a 10-foot-deep “Panhandle” and a “North Texas” island. Guests can swim from Houston to El Paso in about 3–4 feet of water. Read more about the Texas Pool here.
