McKinney St. Patrick’s Day Shamrock Run

The McKinney Shamrock Run 5K, presented by HOTWORX, kicks off at TUPPS Brewery at 9am. Put on your green and race to the finish line where you’ll receive your lucky finishers medal.

Registration for the Shamrock Run 5K is $35 and includes entry into the chip timed racecourse, Shamrock Run 5K T-shirt, custom Shamrock Run bib, and an awesome finishers medal. A portion of event proceeds supports The Warrior’s Keep.

Festivities include local vendors, delicious food, green TUPPS beer, costume contests, a Shamrock Photo booth, Irish music, and Irish dancing. The event is fun and family friendly.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the top overall males and females during the awards ceremony, presented by Prestige Community Credit Union. First place male and female winners will take home a pair of new running shoes courtesy of Fleet Feet.

After the Shamrock Run 5K Festivities head to Downtown McKinney for the McKinney St. Patrick’s Day Beer Walk, from 11am–6pm in Historic Downtown McKinney. Enjoy sipping and strolling through the streets of downtown McKinney tasting 20 unique craft beers.

You’ll receive a map directing you on your tasting journey around downtown McKinney, a signature Beer Walk cup, and tastings at 20 participating locations with delicious craft beer from the best North Texas craft breweries! (There are also some great ciders, Guinness and Bloody Mary's!)

You'll have some good times while supporting McKinney small businesses and shopping local. The Craft Beer Walk is in partnership with nonprofit partner HUGS Cafe.
