Description

SATURDAY, MAY 4, 10am–4pm

In the not too distant future, the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History (which is not far, far away) will be hosting an out of this world Star Wars celebration. From young Padawans to seasoned Jedi Masters, everyone can try their hand using the force at the out-of-this-world Star Wars celebration. Even those loyal to the Sith are welcome, just don't forget your costume.

-Dance along with your favorite Tatooine sensation, the Cantina Band, from noon–2pm.
-Stop by the Maker Studio to create your own mini-light saber.
-Didn't bring a costume? No problem! We'll help you make your own Yoda ears and character masks.
-Explore the force while learning about static electricity.
-Is the real universe expanding? Explore models that may help answer that question.
-Characters from the films will rove throughout the museum during the event, so grab them for a great photo op.

All activities are included with paid museum exhibit admission, available at the box office upon your arrival on May 4.
