Celebrate Independence Day in The Colony! This full day of family fun at the 22nd annual Liberty by The Lake festival take place at its new location, The Colony Five Star Complex. Check out these activities at one of the largest free Independence Day celebrations in the area:

-5K, 10K & 1-mile fun run (all races begin at the Lewisville ISD Aquatics Center, 5729 Memorial Drive. Register here)
-Patriotic parade (begins at 10am from 5101 Nash Drive to The Colony Five Star Complex)
-Live music performances
-Family Fun Zone (activity wristbands $15 for age 4 and younger and $20 for 5 and older)
-Watermelon eating competition (almost every age group, registration begins at 7pm)
-Firework finale
