Knox Street’s Back to School Pop-Up Park

On Saturday, August 21st, the community is invited to give back and celebrate at Knox Street’s Back to School Pop-Up Park Event with Community Partners of Dallas from 9am–2pm. Stop by, donate much-needed school supplies for local students, and have fun at Knox Street’s Pop-Up Park, while enjoying artisan donuts and coffee from The Salty Donut’s vintage trailer, fun children’s crafts with Pottery Barn Kids, and snow cones to beat the heat next to Village Baking Co., at the corner of Knox and Travis Streets.

The most-needed school supplies are:
-Backpacks
-Block erasers
-Glue sticks and bottles
-Index cards (100 count)
-Markers (10 count)
-Notebook paper (wide-ruled, 100 count)
-Watercolors
-Calculators
-Safety scissors
-Construction paper (9 x 12, 100 count or less)
-Manila paper (9 x 12, 100 count or less)
-Colored pencils
