Description
The team at Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Metrocare is here to support you and your family! On September 20, meet at the clinic in Addison for this resource event "Keep Hope Going." Its goal is to help kids and families learn how to move forward after loss, including mass violence and other tragedies.
There will be a variety of activities for kids of all ages and lists of vetted resources based on age. RSVP online and see the full agenda at eventbrite.com. Activities include story times, fun with superhero capes, and an "ask a clinician" with a child and family therapist available for questions or resources.
The event is open to the general public. Metrocare also provides mental health services to the military community.
