Additional Information

Description

Join a spectacular, grand opening weekend of events in celebration of  the eagerly anticipated Kaleidoscope Park. Visitors can look forward to a variety of activities throughout the park, showcasing its unique amenities, along with food trucks, live music, children’s entertainment, lawn games, craft beer, and cocktails. From dance and music performances to yoga and meditation classes, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

This new destination is named Kaleidoscope Park because “kaleidoscope" is the name for a group of butterflies, symbolizing vibrancy and ever-changing beauty—qualities that perfectly capture the essence of the park!

The amenities include a pavilion, dog park, and performance lawn, and the show-stopping aerial sculpture titled Butterfly Rest Stop, which lights up at night too. This sculpture was created by world-renowned fiber artist Janet Echelman, in celebration of our region’s connection to the annual monarch butterfly migration that passes through Frisco each fall. Kaleidoscope Park is also the new home to the Frisco Rotary Farmers Market, open every Saturday.
