Additional Information

Description

It takes a village for all families—and especially families who have a member who is differently abled—to find community, to feel connected and to achieve a true sense of belonging. That's why Southlake DPS and White's Chapel UMC have teamed up for this safety and resource fair for those in the community who are differently abled.

To show your support, join the community at this special event at Southlake Fire Station No. 1 on Saturday, September 10. There will be snow cones, photo booths, fire station tours, bounce houses, therapy horses and dogs, emergency preparedness, games, bubbles, and a touch-a-truck. There will also be info about local businesses that support the differently abled and resources for parents. There will be ASL interpreters available and the event is wheelchair friendly.

The festival ambassador is Billy-Ray, who is a Special Olympian, in the White’s Chapel Praise Band and Choir, and a Central Market employee.
