Irving Independence Day Virtual Celebration

Due to safety concerns during coronavirus pandemic, this year’s Independence Day Fireworks Show has been postponed until a later date. However, we will still celebrate with a video of highlights from previous Independent Day Celebrations along with music by Downtown Fever and a special message from Mayor and Council members.

This year’s Independence Day Parade & Reception have been canceled, but you can still participate in a virtual parade. The community is encouraged to take part by uploading a picture or two of ways you have celebrated Independence Day to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using #IrvingJuly4.

You can also email them to recinfo@cityofirving.org. It can be a photo of decorations, child’s or pet’s dressed up, past parades, anything Independence Day themed. Photos with the hashtag or emailed will be used for a virtual parade video but please send them early to allow time to put the video together.
