Return, again and again, to enjoy Impulse, an art installation of twelve LED seesaws that experiments with light and sound when activated by the public, creating an ever-changing composition of dynamic light and sound wave pulses through the park. Impulse started as part of the sixth edition of Luminotherapie in 2015 and 2016 at the Place des Festivals in the Quartier des Spectecales in Montreal.

On Saturday, April 13, enjoy free night of theater and workshops at Dallas Theater Center, beginning with the Changing Perspectives Block Party, from 6pm–midnight on Flora Street from Routh to Leonard Streets.

Family-friendly entertainment through approximately 9:30pm include bubble magic, live mural painting, a photo Booth, glow-in-the-dark family art with AT&T PAC, and food trucks. All through the evening there will also be performances with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Dark Circles Dance Company on the seesaws, and other local artists.

Dallas Arts District presents, in collaboration with AT&T Performing Arts Center, performances by Dallas’ own Dark Circles Contemporary Dance utilizing Impulse, an art installation of LED seesaws experimenting with light and sound activated by the public: 8:30pm, 9:15pm, and 10pm, and performances by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Dezi5 and other local artists.

Get free tickets to the 8pm performance of Twelfth Night by visiting the Dallas Theater Center Box Office, located at 2400 Flora St. in the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre. Box office hours are Monday-Saturday 10am–6pm. Tickets for this free performance must be claimed before 7pm. Come early at 5:30 or 6:30pm to join the SummerStage Performance Workshop, to tour the theater and participate in a one-hour workshop with a professional artist.
