Holly Jolly Celebration Presented by Credit Union of Texas

Mark your calendars! The Holly Jolly Celebration and tree lighting returns on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024. This longstanding Allen tradition features an annual 5K and fun run, light displays, kid-friendly attractions, gourmet food trucks, festive beverages, artisan vendors, holiday photo ops and the lighting of the City of Allen Christmas tree, followed by a drone show.

Event Attractions
This beloved holiday event is located in the heart of Downtown Allen and extends to Allen Heritage Village. Starting at Allen Drive and Main Street, you'll find blocks of fun. Take the trolley to Allen Heritage Village to soak up more holiday activities.

Holly Jolly 5K and Fun Run:
The Holly Jolly 5K (Timed) is a competitive run open to all ages. Chips are attached to your bib and are used to determine results. Run or walk the Holly Jolly 5K untimed. This race is for those who don't care about their official time, but want to participant in the 3.1-mile distance. The Holly Jolly Fun Run is a one-mile non-competitive run for participants of all ages.
